Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Pest Control Technician to join our experienced team at Gillen Pest Control. As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in upholding our legacy of effective pest management services. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, implementing tailored treatments, and educating clients on preventive measures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries
- Develop and implement effective pest control plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Apply pest control treatments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
- Educate clients on proper sanitation and prevention methods to avoid future infestations
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and inspections
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Qualifications To Be Successful:
- No prior experience necessary! WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Must successfully pass background and drug screening
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician preferred
- Strong knowledge of pests, pest behavior, and treatment methods is a PLUS
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and climbing
- Spanish speaker? That’s a plus!

Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday / Occasionally Saturday
- Overtime
